It is Johns Hopkins University's policy that all students maintain adequate health insurance coverage. School of Nursing students may purchase the Student Health Program (SHP) or provide their own comparable health insurance coverage.
SHP enrollment forms will be mailed to all new students 30 days prior to student's first semester. Students who want more information regarding the SHP should complete our request form or call the Student Accounts Office at 410-955-1243.
For returning students who enrolled in SHP, coverage will carry over to the next academic year and premiums will be charged to the ISIS student account. Once a student stops attending school, SHP coverage will end. Students may extend coverage be electing COBRA. More information will be communicated before each School of Nursing graduation.
Students who maintain their own insurance plan, please complete the annual online waiver form.
